Questions to Introduce Conversations Around Sex and Safety
For some parents it isn’t the content of sex and safety conversations that are most nerve wracking, but the starting them. They fear it will be awkward bringing it up (it will be!) or they don’t want to shut down a good mood by bringing up a difficult topic. Here are 6 questions you can ask to get the conversation started. Remember, the conversation should involve both child and parent, not be a monologue or sermon.
