Should I Get My Child Tested for ADHD?

There are some pros and cons to testing, some of which I’ve listed here. It’s a cost/benefit analysis situation, so it largely depends on what you’re hoping to get out of it.

I tell parents if you're considering testing, get on a waiting list while you're deciding. I'd hate for a family to spend 6 months thinking about it, decide to move forward with testing to just spend another 6+ months on a waiting list before they can get started.
