The ABCs of Communicating with Kids

If I had to limit this to just one tip for great communication with kids, it would be to get down on their level. It doesn’t mean you have to force them to make eye contact the whole time you’re talking, but it does mean we aren’t towering over them. It shows interest in what they’re doing and shows that we’re engaged.
